Product information "Equipe RS S9 Bib Tights"
High-tech high-end pro-level winter cycling trousers! Double-layer wind shielding zones in exposed and sensitive areas protect your body from getting too cold. The high-grade fabrics neither restrict breathability nor freedom of movement. In addition, the cut is excellent due to several functional details which help align trousers and pad perfectly in all movements or positions. Here everything was considered and ideally implemented!
- twinDeck 2-layer construction with Winterlycra as first layer and an ultra thin second layer made from windproof and weathertight Softshell
- 1st layer made from elastic, durable and compressive Osmos Heavy Bi-Stretch Winterlycra (290 g/m²) with soft fine fleece interior which offers excellent, comfortable and warm feel
- 2nd layer made from elastic, windproof and water-resistant Sphere Ultra Softshell panel in front and genital area
- 2nd layer at lower back made from heavy Sphere Medium Softshell
- lower legs with waterproof Geoprene
- rollBar strap construction with straps attached to bottom area (ergoBox) serving as stabilisers
- ergoBox stabiliser zone in seat area
- Straps made from elastic band materials with different elasticities: in the back with short vertical stretch, in the front made from more flexible, flat material close to your body and with antibacterial and moisture wicking carbon yarn. An X-shape construction in the back prevents straps from sliding.
- ergonomic, very close A-Lock cut with reduced number of seams for a very sporty seated posture, offering muscle support and optimal fit for both trousers and pad in any movement
- structured, wide and soft eastic band leg grippers without silicone
- reflective elements at calves
- The Equipe RS seat pad with superAir microShock foam, 3D waffle structure and memory effect is a great combination of comfort and performance. The Assos patented Elastic-Insert interface is essential to the perfect fit. This way the pad follows all movements, reduces friction and enhances comfort. The surface is bacteriostatic. The GoldenGate construction, the pad being attached to the trousers at a few points only, allows for three-dimensional freedom of movement and significantly less friction.
- kukuPenthouse: the soft comfort shell for male genitals offers more support and breathability

Premium Quality made in Switzerland
It began in 1976 with an insight which today is obvious - the cyclists themselves create most of the drag.
Assos' solution to the problem: high grade clothing made from functional Lycra. Even though cyclists were initially sceptical, the first professional team equipped with Assos functional clothing impressively showed what a difference high quality and modern technology make.
Since then the Swiss company has remained pioneer in terms of high grade, functional clothing and equipment. Especially in cycling competitions Assos has a very strong presence and is always a good choice both for professionals and fans.
