The name Noret can be traced back to Honoré Bonenfant, who during World War II was part of the opposition and wore the pen name Jean Noret. After the war he decided to give his business this name: This way in 1947 the handcraft plant for knit wear for sports and work under the name of LES TRICOTS NORET was founded. In 1973, his son took over the company – The company sign was simplified and the company renamed NORET SA.
 
What remained the same, though, was that the family business kept developing further continuously and introduced innovations to meet the demands of the cycling world, always being able to maintain its production site in Brittany.
 
Strongly inspired by the cycling sport culture of Brittany, Noret today is a brand driven by a team of textile experts, athletes, and sports enthusiasts.
